your website is.

Free AEO Website Scan

Run a free technical AEO scan across eight critical checks for AI discovery and readability. See whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other AI systems can reliably find and parse your site.

If AI systems cannot reliably discover and read your site, strong content may never make it into the answer.

Reading your result

What does the free AEO score mean?

The snapshot covers eight of fifty-five checks, so treat it as a temperature reading rather than a diagnosis. It tells you whether basic technical friction may be making your site harder for AI systems to discover or parse.

0 – 40

Significant readiness gaps

AI systems may struggle to reliably discover or parse important parts of the site. The cause is often structural: blocked crawlers, missing discovery files, heavy JavaScript dependency or weak machine-readable signals.

What to do next: identify the few high-impact causes before making broad content changes.

41 – 70

Readable, but inefficient

AI systems can use much of the site, but technical friction or ambiguity may make extraction harder than it needs to be.

What to do next: fix discovery, response-format, structured-data and content-delivery issues first.

71 – 100

Strong technical foundation

Your site handles most of the basic discovery and readability checks well. The next layer is whether AI can interact with key flows and whether engines represent the brand accurately over time.

What to do next: test interaction, representation and longitudinal monitoring.

Not sure what your score means for your site?

We can walk through the result with you and separate what is worth fixing now, what can wait, and what may not matter for your business.

What the free AEO scan covers

Eight technical checks that affect how AI systems find and read your site.

These are intentionally machine-checkable. Each one tests a concrete part of AI discovery or readability rather than making a subjective judgement about your content.

L1-01

llms.txt

Checks whether an AI-oriented site guide exists and is valid. Why it matters: it helps systems locate the pages you consider important.

L1-09

AI bot policy

Checks how named AI crawlers are handled. Why it matters: a blanket block can prevent citation and search agents from accessing your content.

L1-13

Auto-discovery

Checks machine-discoverable links to agent files. Why it matters: AI systems should not have to guess where your machine-readable resources live.

L1-06

MCP card

Checks whether the site advertises an MCP endpoint. Why it matters: it is an early signal that the digital property can expose usable agent capabilities.

L2-01

Content negotiation

Checks the response to Accept: text/markdown. Why it matters: cleaner text formats can reduce parsing friction and token overhead.

L2-04

No-JS content

Checks how much useful page content survives without JavaScript. Why it matters: important content that only appears after client-side rendering may be harder for some crawlers to use.

L2-07

Schema density

Checks valid, linked JSON-LD entity types. Why it matters: structured facts make the business, products and relationships easier to interpret.

L1-14

Sitemaps

Checks XML accuracy and the presence of a markdown variant. Why it matters: a clean content map helps systems discover the right pages efficiently.

This is only a snapshot

The free scan does not cover the full AEO problem.

A high snapshot score does not mean your site is fully optimized for AI search. The full audit looks deeper at the quality, accuracy and usability of what AI systems actually encounter.

The full audit also evaluates

  • schema accuracy and entity consistency
  • heading, answer and content structure
  • JavaScript and rendering dependencies
  • WebMCP and agent interaction
  • authentication and transactional readiness
  • AI representation, citations and factual accuracy
